ADDO ROSE SHOW | KIRKWOOD WILDLIFE FESTIVAL
The Kirkwood Wildlife Festival in June is a three day celebration of all that is wild in the Eastern Cape and a one of the most popular attractions on the Eastern Cape Events Calendar with something on offer for the whole family with donkey cart rides around Kirkwood, cooking demonstrations and competitions, a variety of top local musicians in the Beer Tent and the Addo Elephant National Park's Kirkwood Game Auction.

The Addo climate is temperate to hot and Summer temperatures (November to February) may reach over 40 degrees Celsius. Winter days are mild but cold at night with frost occurring at times.
The Addo Rose and Garden Show is in October each year, when the famous Sundays River Valley Roses are at their best.
